Nail "Stickers by Minx Nails"

I'm sure you all have seen the amazing video of Beyonce's song, Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It). If not, "YouTube It." Did you notice her "blingy" nails at the end? They have a metallic finish, but it wasn't painted on, it was "stuck on." Her metallic manicure was a nail product or system from Minxnails.com.

Minx is a solid nail coating that comes in foil and sparkly metallics, photo-quality designs, and any color under the sun. But, that’s not all. Because Minx is made of film and not polish, it can be customized with any picture, photo, or logo. Just imagine – you can have completely customized nails that feature the exact pattern and colors of your newest gown, your favorite photo, or that season’s hottest design! Minx never chips and requires no drying time.

Minx nails are only available in salons. Below is a link to see if there is a salon in your area that provides these fun nail finishes. About $50.00 a set. If you have ever had them or decide to try them out, send us a photo at beautybroads@gmail.com and let us know how they held up. The Oscars Red Carpet

It's Awards Season and we're so excited. It's like the playoff season for us BeautyBroads. The Grammy Red Carpet Fashion a couple of weeks ago was a little disappointing. There were a few standouts, like Taylor Swift, Katey Perry and Carrie Underwood. (Listen to our official Grammy Red Carpet review on the Celebrity Sidedish Podcast on our website, www.beautybroads.com, by clicking on Listen To The Dish on our Home Page and then scroll to bottom on The Dish Page to click the Celebrity Sidedish link. You can also subscribe to the Celebrity SideDish on iTunes.) But mostly, the Grammy Red Carpet was boring and safe. Except, of course, for the artist, M.I.A. She was literally a stand out with her nine month pregnant belly decorated with big polka dots! Rihanna probably would have shined on the carpet if she hadn't gotten a couple of "shiners" from boyfriend Chris Brown. (So sad.) We missed seeing Beyonce and Christina and Britney and Mariah. Where were they?

Hopefully, the Oscar's Red Carpet this weekend won't disappoint. Will the faces be matte or glowing? Will the hair be sleek and straight or soft spiral curls? We hope you all will be watching. We will be Twittering during the Oscars. Go to twitter.com/celebsidedish. We will post our streaming thoughts on all the fashion and beauty we see, and we hope you will join us! We will start at 6:00 p.m. EST by watching E Entertainment Network and then at 8:00 p.m. EST, we will switch our channels to ABC and continue to Twitter as the winners come in. Please join us, we'd love to know what you think of all the Oscar fashion ad beauty.
